Quality, from seed to sack.
Quality at BHGA is not a separate product tier. It is the way every food is selected, cleaned, prepared and packed, and the reason every pack carries its full ingredients, analysis and feeding guide.
Four steps behind every product.
Quality at BHGA is not a separate product tier. It is the way every food is selected, cleaned, prepared and packed.
Select
Seeds and grains are chosen for the bird named on the pack and for how it will be fed: at home, in a loft or on a farm.
Clean
Single grains are Sortex-cleaned, and every ingredient is carefully prepared before it goes any further.
Prepare
Single seeds stay pure, one ingredient per sack. Blends are assembled to a defined recipe for one bird.
Pack
Every pack carries ingredients, analysis and feeding guidance in English and Arabic, from a 400 g box to a 40 kg sack.
What Sortex quality means.
Sortex is an optical sorting technology. Grains pass high-speed cameras one by one, and any grain that does not meet the standard is rejected from the stream.
For Jowar King sorghum, Bajra King green millet and BHGA striped sunflower seeds, it means grains carefully selected and thoroughly cleaned for high levels of quality, purity and freshness.
- Designed to remove off-colour and damaged grains
- Designed to take out foreign material
- One clean ingredient in every sack

No quality ladder. Just the right food.
BHGA ranges are organised by bird and feeding purpose, so there is never a “good, better, best” choice to make.
The same recipe in every pack size
Each BHGA seed food uses a single recipe across all of its pack sizes. The 400 g box and the 800 g pack suit home feeding; the 20 kg bag is made for breeders, pet shops and larger aviaries.
Made for the bird named on the pack
Every recipe is built around the physical and biological needs of one bird. Seed choice, size and balance change with the bird, not with a price point.

Everything you need is on the pack.
Every BHGA pack is printed in English and Arabic, and every product page on this site repeats the same information.

Contact us →Is there a premium and a standard version of each food?
No. Each BHGA seed food uses a single recipe across all of its pack sizes. The pack size changes with the channel, from home feeding to breeders and pet shops, not the recipe.
What does Sortex-cleaned mean?
Sortex is an optical sorting technology that checks grains one by one and rejects those that do not meet the standard. BHGA single grains are carefully selected and thoroughly cleaned for high levels of quality, purity and freshness.
Where can I find the analysis for a product?
On the pack, in English and Arabic, and on every product page of this site, alongside the ingredients and the feeding guide.
How should I switch to a BHGA food?
The packs recommend mixing the new food with the current one for about a week before switching completely, and always offering fresh water.
