Why does one food come in several pack sizes?
Each BHGA seed food uses a single recipe across all of its pack sizes. The 400 g box and the 800 g pack suit home feeding, while the 20 kg bag is made for breeders, pet shops and larger aviaries.
How much should I feed?
Daily guidance ranges from about 10 g per budgie or canary to 10–25 g for parakeets and 15–25 g for parrots. Amounts may vary with breed, age and activity.
Can I switch foods straight away?
The packs recommend mixing the new food with the current one for about a week before switching completely.
